About WeedRX
WeedRX was built from inside cannabis operations — not from a consulting firm, not from a software company, and not from a law office. We've been working in this industry since 2006, long before state licensing frameworks existed in most markets. That experience shapes everything we do.
We've personally managed inventory systems that tracked thousands of plants across multiple rooms. We've reconciled seed-to-sale data against physical counts at 2 AM before an audit. We've watched good operators get tripped up by documentation gaps they didn't know existed until a regulator pointed them out.
Why We Exist
Cannabis businesses face a unique operational challenge: they must run a complex agricultural, manufacturing, or retail business while simultaneously maintaining regulatory compliance across dozens of operational areas. Most businesses in other industries don't face this level of documentation and tracking burden.
The tools available to cannabis operators are often built by software companies that have never worked a day in a licensed facility. Generic compliance checklists miss the operational nuance. Legal firms focus on licensing and contracts, not on whether your intake logs match your METRC entries.
WeedRX fills that gap. We understand both the regulatory framework and the daily operational reality. We help operators build systems that satisfy compliance requirements without destroying workflow efficiency.
What We Believe
Compliance Is an Operational Problem, Not a Legal One
Most compliance failures start with broken processes, not bad intentions. When your intake workflow doesn't capture the right data at the right time, the downstream documentation gaps are inevitable. We fix the process, not just the paperwork.
Systems Should Match How People Actually Work
A perfect SOP that nobody follows is worse than no SOP at all — it creates a false sense of security. We design systems around your team's actual workflow, then build accountability mechanisms that keep things on track.
Technology Should Reduce Work, Not Add It
We've seen too many operations adopt tools that create more data entry without reducing actual risk. Every system we build must save time, reduce errors, or improve visibility — ideally all three.
Our Approach
We start by observing. We spend time in your facility watching how your team operates day-to-day. We review your documentation, your tracking systems, your SOPs (if they exist), and your regulatory history. Then we identify the gaps that create the most exposure and the inefficiencies that waste the most labor.
From there, we build a prioritized plan. Some issues need immediate fixes. Others are best addressed through process redesign or custom tooling. We help you tackle the highest-impact items first, with clear timelines and measurable outcomes.
We don't provide legal advice, and we don't guarantee compliance. What we do is help you build the operational systems and processes that make compliance a natural outcome of doing your work correctly.
